Minister Piyasiri Wijenayake has been in politics for three decades serving the Sri Lankan community. He represented Kalutara District at the last general election.

Joining and supporting the President Mahinda Rajapakse in his efforts to make Sri Lanka a better place, Minister Wijenayake is contesting the upcoming general election representing the Gampaha District.

He is is focused on improving the quality of life for hardworking families and individuals across Gampaha District. From standing strong to protect environment he is running a exemplarily echo friendly election campaign.  Minister Wijenayake is working to provide the people of Gampaha District  with the tools and resources they need to lift up their communities and expand economic opportunity. His ambitious agenda for the next term includes, constitutional changes, development in education, job opportunities and infrastructure development in the area and across the country.
